Fourth graders are not testing this week so homework will be spelling or journal writing on Monday and Wednesday and math on Tuesday and Thursday. We are working hard on the Oregon Trail journal writing! Thanks for all your help and support.

Some students are completing their state reading assessments this week. It is important that they get a good night's rest and eat breakfast. Spelling homework is only assigned on Monday for the remainder of the year due to extensive Oregon Trail journal writing. We are still in need of sharpened pencils, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. Any help with these supplies is greatly appreciated.

Tuesday Homework

Reading: Students with reading folders need to read orally for 15 minutes and get a parent signature.  Students also need to practice their fluency passage.

Math: Two pages of homework tonight: Decimals:Tenths and  11-1 Relating Fractions and Decimals p.275 only (not Remembering Side)

Social Studies: Journal 2 Paragraph 2 (Describing Fort Kearny)

 Fourth graders are not completing any state tests this week so our schedule and homework routine will be the usual ones. Thank you for sending fabric for our special art project. Fabric can be sent anytime during the next two weeks. Any cotton fabric with a small print is needed. We also are in need of sharpened pencils, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes. Any help with these supplies is greatly appreciated.

We are starting our unit on the Oregon Trail this week.  Students will bring home a letter this week explaining this activity.  Homework this week follows our regular homework routine.  We hope everyone had a great spring break.
