Happy Monday!

Due to peanut food allergies in the fourth grade, all treats must be nut free and not manufactured in a facility containing nuts.  In addition, all treats must be inspected by the school nurse before they come into the classroom.  School pictures will be on Thursday, September 27th instead of Wednesday as previously noted.  Our homework routine remains the same this week, with CCC on Monday and spelling sentences on Wednesday.  Spelling tests will be given on Friday.  Math homework will be assigned on Tuesday and Thursday.  Students need to memorize their X2, X5, X10 and X9 math facts this week.  Daily practice is necessary.  Computer multiplication games can be found on Ridgeview's website.

Fourth graders  were divided into groups this week for both math and reading.  Our homework routine of spelling on Monday and Wednesday and math on Tuesday and Thursday remains the same.  However,  your child's specific assignment may vary depending on the group they are in.  Dental forms have been sent home and are due back to your child's teacher by September 28th.  Book orders are also due on September 28th.

Week of September 10-14

We are beginning a brand new school year! This is our first full week of school and we are busy establishing routines and making new friends.  The students will complete reading and math assessments this week.  Next week we will form 3 math and 3 reading groups with Mrs. Erin Richardson teaching the third group.  We are enjoying getting to know your child.  We appreciate your support.
