Happy Tuesday!!!

We hope you had a nice and relaxing Memorial Day weekend.  It is hard to believe, but we are in the final push as we end another great year at Ridgeview.  Homework will not be assigned this week because we want students to spend their study time preparing for their Oregon Trail speeches.  Rough drafts are due Friday.  Resource students will still have spelling homework and students with reading folders will still be required to read and get a parent signature each night this week.  Our 4/5 Spotlight music performance is Thursday, May 31.  The fourth grade program begins at 6:30 p.m.  We hope to see you  there!

Ridgeview's Jog-A-Thon is Friday, May 18.  Fourth graders will run from 1:35-2:10.  Parents are welcome to join us.  We are busy with Oregon Trail Journals and counting change from $10.00 in Math.
We have finished State Testing in both Reading and Math.  Thanks for all your help and support.

This week will be our last OAKS testing week!  Please make sure your student has good nourishment and rest this week so they do their best on this important state test.  With Friday being a furlough day, only math and social studies homework will be assigned this week.  There are no spelling assignments for non-resource students.  We are  working  on Journal 4 on the Oregon Trail-half way to Oregon Territory.  Thanks for your support as we wind down the school year.
