Happy Tuesday !

Ridgeview's final Battle of the Books takes place on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m.  Two fourth grade teams will be dueling.  Our Read-a-Thon ends on the 28th of February.  Please keep those signatures coming! Fourth graders are finishing up Area and Perimeter in mathematics as we assess unit 2, multiplication and division facts, and multiplication applications for this Term 2 progress report.  We will begin fractions some time next week.  Thank you for your support.

Valentine's Day is tomorrow and classroom parties begin at 2:00 p.m.  If your child  wants to bring Valentine's Day cards to exchange, please make sure he/she have enough cards for all classmates in your student's room.  Students are busy READING at Ridgeview Elementary!  The Battle of the Books tournament continues this week and the Read-a-Thon continues through February.  Thank you for your continued support !

It is a full week of school this week so we will have a regular homework routine, with spelling on Monday and Wednesday and math on Tuesday and Thursday.  The Ridgeview Read-a-Thon has just kicked of this year's Read-a-Thon and everyone is so excited! Look for those daily blue slips your student should be asking you to sign. In school battles for Battle of the Books begin this week.  Thursday is a Papa's Pizza Fundraiser and Friday is Popcorn Day!  Thanks for your continuing support.
