Happy Monday!

Thank you for your prompt response to our conference requests!  There will be no homework this week due to the short week. Students should continue to make good progress on their Reading Counts and Battle of the Books over  the long week end.  In addition students need to continue to practice their facts each and every day.  When we return on Monday, all students will test on 100 mixed facts, 0-10.  Thanks again for your support.  See you at conferences!

We will have our regular homework schedule this week with spelling on Monday and Wednesday and math homework on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Our spelling test is Friday.  Students will be tested on X6 math facts this week.  Please look for conference letters coming home on Friday with the Weekly Reports.  Friday is also Ridgeview's Fall Festival from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Come in costume and have some fun!

School pictures were sent home with students last week.  Retakes will be on October 26. We are working on memorizing X4 facts this week and continue to study the Western States.  There is no school on Friday, October 14 due to a statewide inservice.  Homework will not be assigned Thursday night.

Our homework will follow the regular weekly routine this week.  Students are studying their X3 and X4 facts this week with the X3 test on Friday.  We continue to study about the Western States and their climate, resources, and physical features.  Thank you for helping your student learn their facts!
