Happy Monday!

We have grouped for reading now, so Monday and Wednesday's spelling assignments will now be assigned by your student's reading teacher.  Please look under your student's reading teacher's name for specific spelling assignments from this day forward.  Besides spelling, we will also have math homework this week on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  We are studying our Multiplication facts for X2, X5, X10, and X9, in addition to studying the Commutative Property for Multiplication.  Friday will be Popcorn Day at Ridgeview with our McTeacher Night at McDonald's on Friday night from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.  This week we will begin our Four Square Writing as we learn to add details to narrative and imaginative writing.

 This week's homework will follow the regular homework routine of spelling on Monday and Wednesday and math on Tuesday and Thursday.  We are learning to spell high frequency words we commonly use in our writing.  Our spelling test is Friday.  We are learning about the hemispheres in social studies.  Registration packets are due on Wednesday.  School pictures are also on Wednesday.

We  are off to a great start to a brand new school year!  This week's homework will follow the regular homework routine of spelling on Monday and Wednesday and math on Tuesday and Thursday.  We are learning to spell high frequency words we commonly use in our writing.  Our spelling test is Friday. Math homework is addition and subtraction review. We are also learning about the continents and oceans. There will be a test on the locations of the oceans and continents on Friday. Dental packets will be sent home this week and need to be returned by September 30.
