Happy Tuesday !

Fourth grade field trips are coming up next week.  Your student should bring a letter home from school giving you all the details.  Next week will be the last journal entry for the Oregon Trail.  As an incentive to finish the year strong, no homework will be assigned when the wagon trains successfully complete their journey.  All Jog-a-Thon money was due last Thursday, so please hurry to get your pledges in.

Tonight is the music program for fourth and fifth grades.  Fourth graders need to arrive at 6:15 p.m. and will be performing at 6:30 p.m.  Thursday is the last day to turn in money for our Jog-a-Thon fundraiser.  We will have a regular homework routine this week.

We will have a regular homework routine this week with Spelling assigned on Monday and Wednesday. Math homework will be assigned on Tuesday and Thursday.  Students need to remember to get pledges for our Jog-A-Thon on Friday. Fourth graders will be outside running their laps from 1:35-2:10.

Thank you for all the cards, gifts, and kind words for Teacher Appreciation week!  This week your students are working hard on the Oaks State Math Assessment.  We will test each morning this week.  Please help your students do their best by giving them a good breakfast and proper rest. Friday will be the last day for swimming.  This week  students are writing Journal 2 with parent editing one night this week.  Math will be assigned each night for homework.  Jog-A-Thon tee shirt orders were due last Friday.  Students will be taking their Oaks state math assessment beginning Monday morning.  Please help your student do their best by making sure they are at school each morning, they are rested, and they have had a good breakfast.
